Heroworship: A Graphic Tale of Epic Proportions August 6 - September 18. 2010
C. Emerson Fine Arts has a strong intention to bring St. Petersburg art that not only is masterful in execution, but also allows the viewer to personally connect existentially. This conceptual exhibition asks the question of admiration. What is it personally to have a hero and why? Is there light without dark? What does our society value? These six artists scratch the surface of these vast questions in multi-faceted perspective. There is no one answer. There is no one aesthetic style. Existentially, we are all connected. However, life experiences make us individuals with various tendencies and preferences.
