Artist Statement

For many years I have used the house form as a metaphor for people.  That concept has evolved to include clothing as an actual house for our bodies and with Wishful Thinking, has further evolved into a vessel to contain the body and its experiences.  It is the salt from shedded tears, both happy and sad, that keep the vessel buoyant for the journey ahead.
